Dangling electric wires,tumble down poles pose threat to lives in Tral

Tral: The residents of Nahir village in Tral have expressed resentment over the pathetic condition of the power transmission line in the area. The aggrieved residents alleged that Concerned authorities have put the lives of people at risk. They said that ramshackle poles and dangling wires are posing threat to locals all the time a group of residents told The Arising state. They further said, “the poles and dangling wires has created a fear among the villagers, every day, passers including students and farmers as the poles and wires seem to topple down at any time and may lead to any uncertainty as the concerned officials are in deep slumber no one among them bothers to fix poles or wires.” They said that one year has passed since the new transformer and transmission line under the Soubagya scheme was installed in the village but nothing has been done so far to make them functional. The locals demanded immediate intervention of higher-ups into the matter and said that their grievances must be redressed at the earliest.
