Congress grieves over passing away of veteran Party Leader Madan Lal Sharma
The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has expressed deep shock and grief over the passing away of veteran party leader and Ex.MP Madan Lal Sharma and conveyed deepest condolences to family, friends and followers of departed leader from the rank and file of the Party.
JKPCC described the passing away of the veteran leader as a great loss and recalled his services to people of J&K.
In a statement issued to , JKPCC President G.A. Mir and other Senior Party Leaders included Former PCC President Peerzada Mohd. Sayeed, Former Minister Taj Mohi U Din, Party Vice Presidents Gulam Nabi Monga, Haji Abdul Rashid Dar, Mohd Anwar Bhat, Amreen Badre, Former Legislators Mohd Amin Bhat, Gulzar Ahmad Wani, Bashir Ahmad Magrey, Mohd Muzaffar Parray, General Secretaries Surinder Singh Channi, Hilal Ahmad Shah, Shameema Iqbal, District Presidents Abdul Gani Khan,Zahid Hussain Jan, Haji Farooq Mir, Imtiyaz Parray, Farooq Ahmad Bhat, Sahil Farooq, Fayaz Ahmad Dar, Abdul Qayoom Shah, Senior Leaders Mohd Sultan, Dr. Ayoub Matoo, Nissar Ahmad Mundoo, Mohd Iqbal Mir, Shaheena Neda, PCC Secretaries, Org Secretaries and other senior leader have expressed profound grief over the passing away of Veteran Party Leader Madan Lal Sharma, who was known for his ability and vision.
The departed leader has served the people in different capacities, whose contributions to the overall development of J&K shall always be remembered, they said.
Congress party has lost a stalwart, a visionary and senior political leader of JK in the passing way of Madan Lal Ji, who was known for his devotion towards the Congress Party, they said
Madan Ji was a man of commitment, who had faith in serving people with honesty and dedication and never compromised on his principles, Congress leaders added and paid rich tributes to the departed leader.
JKPCC shares the grief with the family, friends and followers of Madan Lal Sharma Ji and conveyed heartfelt condolences to them.
The rank and file of the Party prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul, PCC said.
