Civil Administration and Police Awantipora conducted mega Tiranga rallies across Police District Awantipora

Awantipora 09 August 2025: Continuing its Har Ghar Tiranga campaign Civil administration along with Police Awantipora organized various programmes across Police District Awantipora. students, youth and General Public participated in big numbers in these programmes.

To encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark the 79th year of India’s independence. The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness about the Indian flag. To Support and promote this campaign among the people a rally was organised by the civil administration and J&K Police District Awantipora.

The participants in the rally sang the National Anthem, patriotic songs & waved the Tricolour. Officers also highlighted the vital importance of independence and role of freedom fighters who laid down their precious lives for the freedom of the country.

At the end of the rallies, all participants took a pledge to contribute building a developed India, to eliminate any remnants of a colonial mindset, to uphold the unity and solidarity of the country, to fulfill their duties and responsibilities towards the nation, and to honour the sacrifices of the country’s brave hearts, dedicating themselves to the progress & prosperity of the Nation.
