Citizens’ Council Tral demands up-gradation of Municipal Committee to Municipal Council
Tral: Citizens’ Council in Tral sub district of South Kashmir on Sunday demanded that Municipality Committee Tral should be upgraded to Municipal Council Tral.
A statement issued by the spokesperson of the council reads that, “At present Municipal Committee Tral has thirteen wards and most of the area has been left out which is not being included in the Municipal committee Tral.”
Meanwhile, Chairman Citizens’ Council Tral Farooq Trali said, “the Council has already put forth the demand that more area should be included, so that the Municipal Committee Tral should be upgraded to Municipal Council Tral as the Councils have the more developmental prospects than the Municipal Committee.”
Trali said that they once again request the higher authorities to fulfill the long pending demand of Citizens’ Council Tral on behalf of people of Tral, and hoped that demand will be fulfilled soon.
