Children’s Day: Tehsil Legal Services Committee Pampore organises debate cum awareness programme

Pulwama: Tehsil Legal Services Committee Pampore organised a debate cum awareness programme on the eve of Children’s Day.

The programme was held under the Chairmanship of Junaid Imtiyaz Mir (Judicial Magistrate Pampore) and under the guidance of Chairman District Legal Services Authority Mr. Ab. Rashid Malik, Principal District and Sessions Judge Pulwama and Secretary District Legal Services Authority Mr. Reyaz Ahmad Chowdhary.

Under the theme “Drug Addiction: Impact on Health and Society” this programme was organised at Islamia School Khrew, which was attended by Bar President, Bar Association Pampore, Assistant Public prosecutor Pampore, management of the School, PLVs of TLSC Pampore.

Mr. Junaid Imtiaz Mir, while delivering his speech, talked about the negative consequences of drugs and purpose of the function.

He also congratulated the school administration and PLVs for the successful function on the eve of Children’s Day.

A play was also organised, depicting the causes of drug addiction and it’s impact on family.

During the debate competition, various students from different schools spoke on the occasion on the topic who were felicitated by Chairman TLSC Pampore with trophies, medals and certificates.
