BMO Mattan recommends suspension of 10 health officials for dereliction of duties

Anantnag, Jan 20 : Block Medical Officer (BMO), Mattan in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday recommended suspension of several health officials in Frislan and Aru blocks of the district for dereliction of duties.

According to an order, BMO stated that he has received complaint about HWC Aru that no staff was present to perform their duties on January 19.

The order stated in this connection he visited Aru on same date and assured locals about HWC’s functionality.

“But today the institute was locked again which creates a difficulty for locals for want of health care.”

It reads in view of this employees including Ruhi Rehman (MLHP: NHM), Auzma Ali (FMPHW: NHM), Fareed Ahmad Wani (MTS, N/O), Farooq Ahmad (Pharmacist), Neyaz Ahmad Sheikh (SW), Nazir Ahmad Bhat (FW: N/O), and Raveeda Akhtar (Helper: HDF) are hereby recommended for suspension.

In a separate order BMO Mattan also recommended for suspension of several officials at HWC Frislan.

The employees include Dr Najeeb (MLHP), Sami Jan (FMPHW), Feroz Ahmad (Pharmacist) and Mehbooba Akhter (helper). (KNS)
