BJP leader, his father and brother shot dead in Bandipora
Congress strongly condemns the killing
Gunmen on Wednesday night shot dead a BJP leader and his father and brother in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, police said.
A senior police officer said that ex-President Bandipora district Wasim Bari was at his shop in Bandipora along with his father and a brother when gunmen opened fire on them. He said the trio were critically injured in the attack and were shifted to a hospital where they succumbed.
Meanwhile, The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has strongly condemned the attack on BJP leader from Bandipora Waseem Bari, in which his father and brother also got killed and described the incident as very shameful and mindless.
According to a statement issued to KNS reads, The Party expressed anguish over this highly deplorable incident and demanded exemplary punishment to killers.
JKPCC conveyed deepest condolences to the family of BJP leader and expressed solidarity with them. (KNS)
