BJP leader Altaf Thakur welcomes PSA quashing of twin religious scholars

Srinagar: BJP leader & party spokesman J&K Altaf Thakur on Friday welcomed the release of two prominent religious leaders in the valley.

In a statement, Thakur said that, “Great to hear about the High Court verdict about quashing of PSAs of religious scholars Moulana Abdur Rashid Dawoodi and Moulana Mushtaq Ahmed Veeri.”

He said that, “regardless of their ideological differences, we beleive in religious freedom. Hope both the religious scholars will serve the humanity and bring positive changes in the society.”
