BASHARAT RASHID

Pulwama, 14 October: The residents of Padgampora & Dangerpora in Awantipora tehsil of Pulwama district have been facing hardships as the link road there is in dilapidated condition.

A group of residents have said that road from Makroo Bridge Padgampora to Peer Mohalla Dangerpora has turned into shambles, due to which residents suffer.

One of the residents has said that “this road connects the village with Govt Middle School Dangerpora, Two Primary Schools, Ziyarat Shareef and an agricultural farm.”

He said that “with its dilapidation, the villagers particularly school children face hardships, as the road usually turns pathetic at the time of rains, which makes it difficult for children to travel on it.”

He further said that “road has developed potholes, like it had developed before last year’s repairing work and macadamization.”

The residents demanded that the dilapidated link road in the area should be repaired at the earliest.
