While recalling his childhood, Farhan said that he has always been fascinated by the idea of flying the planes.

Catching the glimpse of aeroplanes flying over the nearby farms, Farhan Majeed would pose several questions to his parents and uncle, ‘’when he would be able to fly a plane’’? His family would embrace positive thinking and mindset through the affirmations, ‘’very soon, if you are determined and believe in yourself.’’

These statements designed to purify my thoughts and make me believe nothing is impossible,’ stated young Farhan.

“When I was a school kid, I would look up the sky and gaze for hours at the aeroplanes, just like somebody gazes at stars, flying from Malanpora Airbase, and dream to fly the airplane one day.’’

Farhan was thinking about being a pilot from an early age, and today he has achieved what he dreamt of. He feels very happy over accomplishing this feat.

Sharing his experience young Farhan said, ‘it has not been an easy task, I had to struggle a lot initially. The lack of information was the biggest challenge. I had no clue as how to go ahead with my dream.’

Farhan said that his father is his biggest inspiration and said “it all happened with the blessings of Allah and support of parents and other relatives.’’

After completing his 12th class from a local higher secondary school Mantaqui Memorial Awantipora, Farhan joined an aviation academy at Uttrakhand ( titled as Global Konnect Aviation) and managed to get a licence from the directorate general of civil aviation (DGCA), after completing all the requirements.
