Awantipora: JEMHS Midoora Celebrates Annual Day

Awantipora: Jalali (R.A.) English Medium High School in Midoora village of Tral on Saturday celebrated Annual Day which was attended by students, their parents & staff members.

The Annual Day was celebrated with the motive to encourage students of the school in general, and to felicitate the toppers in particular.

On that occasion, District Development Council (DDC), Member, Dr. Harbaksh Singh was Chief Guest, while Zonal Education Officer, Awantipora, Mohammad Ashraf Aga was the guest of honour.

During the programme, many students took to the dice to present their viewpoints on the Annual Day, and spoke on various topics.

Besides that, a cultural programme was also conducted by a group of students, which was appreciated by all the participants.

In the end of the programme, students who have topped the examinations, for a last few years, were appreciated and awarded with medals and certificates.

Talking to the Media, DDC member, and Chairman standing committee for education and health, Pulwama, Dr. Harbaksh Singh has said that private schools play an important role in building the society.

He said that such schools provide job opportunities to unemployed youth, besides giving better education to children.

Singh distributed sports kit among the students, in presence of the Principal of the school, and other staff members.

Meanwhile, ZEO, Awantipora, Mohammad Ashraf Aga hailed the efforts of school management, and advised them to highlight the names of all those passout students of their school, who have done extraordinary work in their respective fields.
