Apni Party condemns killing of police constable

Apni Party provincial president Kashmir Mohammad Ashraf Mir Monday condemned the Natipora-Srinagar attack in which a police constable Manzoor Ahmad Yatoo lost his life.

In a statement issued to Mir expressed solidarity with the bereaved family of the slain constable and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul. “These violent incidents are inhuman and will yield nothing except for death and destruction,” Mir remarked.

He urged the J&K government to take a review of the security of political activists and take necessary measures wherever required. “The government should also disburse adequate ex gratia relief to the family of a slain cop who was the sole bread earner for his family,” he demanded.
