Anjuman Sharie offers Govt Wukuf properties for use during Covid pandemic
J&K Anjuman Sharie Shian President Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi Al-Safavi today offered the use of Wukuf properties for any use that the government finds appropriate with medical advisory.
He said this while chairing the Anjuman Quick Response team’s preparedness meeting to tackle the recent surge in COVID-19 cases.
It is pertinent to mention Anjuman QRT has 500 volunteers and Anjuman Blood bank was formed in March 2020.
Since then, QRT is engaged with various activities which include sanitization of public places, distributed more than 20000 food kits.
Anjuman Blood bank is engaged in the donation of blood while coordinating with blood donors and patients.
During the meeting, he discussed the situation created by the second wave of COVID-19.
The Volunteers were asked to assist sick, old age, pregnant ladies, daily wagers, poor, destitute, and other vulnerable groups and educate the people to follow the norms as laid down by the Medical Authorities.
He also asked the meeting to encourage the people to go for the COVID Vaccination and discourage all kinds of stigmatization attached to the vaccine.
