Anantnag youth converts his Mini passenger bus into Mobile restaurant

Anantnag,13 October : A 25 -year old Aasif Ahanger hailing from south kashmir’s Kamad area of Anantnag District has become epitome of hope and success .Asif has converted  his minibus (Tata Bus) into Restaurant at a famous tourist spot here in kokernag area of Anantnag district.

Asif bought his Minibus  few years back to earn his  livelihood. However, the Covid era coupled with people demand ,Asif was left with no choice than to desert his driver’s job.

Talking to Arising State Asif said ,”he saw some videos of mobile restaurants on you tube ,which got him the idea of converting  his minibus into a restaurant.

It was last year when Asif’s financial condition was very weak ,” one day  after watching some videos on you tube channel, it was a eureka moment for me,the idea changed my  life ”,stated Asif. It was then Asif  became a restaurateur from a driver.

Asif converted his old mini bus into a unique mobile restaurant .Today Asif  is generating employment not only for himself ,but also for several young people.

Asif said ,’ People nowadays prefer to travel by cars or cabs.Where as the culture of buses is going obsolete”.

Asif has given a smart look to his minibus to attract tourists. With a kitchen and utility place inside ,a refrigerator and a wash basin adds to the charm of this mini mobile restaurant.

Asif said that he had earlier placed his mini mobile restaurant  at  Mahindi Kadal area of Anantnag district, however, anticipating  the influx of tourists, he set up his mobile restaurant outside the Kokernag Mughal Garden, and it proved to be a fortuitous decision.

”Tourists love his unique restaurant and they  enjoy the variety of fast food choice available at mini restaurant, mentioned Asif.

Asif wants to expand his business in order to provide jobs to local unemployed youth.
