Anantnag Police arrest drug peddler at Chattergul axis, Contraband Substance recovered from his possession

Anantnag, 26 November: In its continuous efforts against social evils, during the area domination by SHO Uttrasoo under the supervision of SDPO Achabal, apprehended a person namely Jasir Ahmad Rather S/O Ab Rahaman Rather Resident of Cheerpora Uttrasoo, two bags were recovered from his possession, one bag was full of black angel wine bottles which were 13 in numbers and another bag containing about 12 Kgs of Fukki.
In this connection accused has been arrested and case FIR No. 83/2020 under section 8/15 NDPS Act, 48 Excise Act stands registered in Police Station Uttrasoo and further investigation into the matter has been taken up.
