ALC Pulwama releases Rs 831500 in favour of wards of workers

Pulwama: As per the directions of Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Dr.Basharat Qayoom (IAS) & to mark the celebration of ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ under “Azadi Ka Amrit Maha Utsav”, Ms. Hafsa Qayoom (Assistant Labour Commissioner Pulwama) released an amount of Rs. 831500/- (Rupees Eight Lac Thirty One Thousand and Five Hundred only) in favour of the wards of the workers and dependents of the deceased Construction workers under Building and other construction Workers Welfare Board schemes on account of educational assistance and Death Assistance.

Labour Officer Pulwama, while speaking on the occasion made the participants aware about the different welfare schemes being run by the department, and also redressed the genuine demands of the attendees on spot.

She directed the field functionary to verify the genuine cases with the stipulated time.
