Fire at Qaimoh hospital, no casualty

Kulgam: A major fire broke out this evening at Qaimoh hospital but no casualty has been reported in the incident, officials said here.

The fire broke out at around 7:00 pm in the OPD block of the hospital in Kulgam, following which police and fire service personnel rushed to the spot and evacuated all the patients and their attendants, they said.

No one was injured in the fire, they said, adding the cause of the blaze is being ascertained.

Fire tenders took hours to douse the flames which caused extensive damage to the building.
