Mentally Retarded man kills Woman in Kulgam

Kulgam,10 Nov:  A  35-year-old woman was beaten to death after she was hit on her head with a  sharp object by  Ashfaq Ahmed Bohro, son of Manzoor Ahmed Bohro, a retarded man. The woman collapsed as a result of head injury even after she was taken to hospital where she was declared brought dead on arrival. The incident took place in Shurut area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Mahmooda Akhtar wife of Muzaffar Ahmed Najjar resident of Shurut Kulgam official sources said adding that Mehmooda received a deep injury on the head after being hit by a  retarded man and was immediately taken to District Hospital Kulgam where doctors declared her brought dead on arrival, an official said.

A case has been registered under relevant sections of law in this regard official said.
