110 Kanals of Forest Land retrieved at Mamal Pahalgam

Anantnag 07 Nov: A joint team consisting of the officers of PDA, Wildlife, Forest, Revenue, Police & Municipal Committee Pahalgam today launched an anti-encroachment drive at Mamal Palalgam and retrieved 110 kanals of Forest Land which was illegally encroached by some miscreants.

A team of officials headed by CEO PDA Mushtaq Ahmad Semnani, DFO Wildlife Rouf Ahmad Zargar, Range officer Forest Range Pahalgam, Tehsildar Pahalgam, and Other senior officers of the concerned departments were present during the demolition drive.

The team demolished illegal huts, Dokas, and fencing of the salt land. On the occasion, the officials said that the anti-encroachment drive shall continue in the future also and all the state/ Forest land will be retrieved.
