Weekly block Divas organised across Ramban district

Jammu 28 October:The  Weekly Block Divas was organised at the headquarters of 5 Blocks across Ramban district on Wednesday. It was held at Ramban, Batote, Banihal,Ukhral and Sangaldan.In Ramban and Batote it was presided over by the DDC,Naazim Zai Khan and ACR,Dhirender Sharma respectively while as in Banihal,Ukhral and Sangaldan it was presided over by the concerned SDMs.

In these Public Outreach programmes the officers listened to the grievances of the public representatives and redressed some public grievances on the spot while certain other issues were taken into notice and assured  to take up those issues with concerned senior authorities for their redressal.

People at large have hailed the decision of J&K UT Governor,Manoj Sinha of holding the Block Divas every Wednesday in Ramban district wherein the senior officers visit their doorstep that is Block headquarters on a rotation basis and after patiently listening to the grievances of locals take their serious notice and get some of them resolved on the spot while as take up the serious issues with concerned senior authorities for their early redressal.
