Cleaning campaign held by volunteers in Pampore

Pulwama: A group of boys voluntary implemented a cleaning campaign in Pampore township of Pulwama in South Kashmir on Thursday.
Witnesses said that a few local boys organized a joint campaign with local Municipal Committee in Pampore.
They said that campaign was started at Iqbal Stadium, Pampore, which is considered to be the main ground of this town.
Arising State learnt from the official sources that local youth of the town along with Municipal Committee Pampore today launched a joint cleaning campaign, under which the ground was properly cleaned.
During the program, garbage and polythene were picked up from the field and taken to the dumping site, with the motive to make it clean and transparent for sports activities.
One of the volunteers has said that by running this campaign, they have cleaned the ground, with the aim to keep the ground free from dirt.
He said that players were facing many difficulties in presence of filthy things in and around the stadium.
He further said that they will continue this campaign to make the Pampore town clean and beautiful.
