Bootlegger arrested in Batote , 100 quarters of illicit liquor recovered, Case registered

Jammu :In its continued efforts to eradicate the menace of selling of illicit liquor in Ramban District. Police in Batote with strenuous efforts have intercepted one Swift Car bearing registration no JK02AA 2709 driven by one namely Kuldeep Singh s/o Payar Chand r/o Kothri teh Batote distt Ramban. On search by police party headed by I/C PP Patnitop of said vehicle 100 quarters of “DESI WISKY” 180 ml each illicit liquor were found, which he was carrying illegally.In this connection a case FIR No.65/ 2020 u/s 48 (A) E Act stands registered in P/S Batote, accused involved arrested and investigation started. Acting swiftly upon the information Police party  under the overall supervision of SSP Ramban and Adl SP Ramban led by DySP Hqrs Ramban and SHO P/S Batote Insp Ranjit Rao  on tip off established a Naka near Patnitop and intercepted car involved and arrested accused person.
