 Encounter rages in Anantnag village after Militants attacked security forces party near higher secondary school Marhama area of Sangam in South Kashmir’s Anantnag District.

 Sources said that today around 12 noon, militants fired upon a party of Army’s Rashtriya Rifles near Higher Secondary Marhama in Anantnag district,  a police official said that the security forces have retaliated. However, no loss of life or injury was reported yet.

There are no reports of any loss of life or injury,” he said, adding that a joint team of security forces including 3RR, SOG, and CRPF has been rushed to the spot and the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
