Search operation going on in twin villages of Chadoora Budgam

Budgam, Sep 28: Government forces on Monday early morning launched a cordon and search operation(CASO) in Yarikalan Chadoora and Qazipora Chadoora area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

Searches were launched on early Monday morning following inputs about the presence of militants in the area of Chadoora and Qazipora by a joint team of 53RR and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police.

A police officer confirmed the Cordon and said that the searches were launched on the basis of inputs, however, local sources said that a huge contingent of forces are deployed in the area and house to house searches were going on when the Report was last filled.
