Nowgam Brigade organises free medical Camp
17 Infantry Brigade Nowgam Monday organized a free medical camp at Nowgam Handwara in which a large of people from the nearby villages including local Teachers and Students participated and were given free medicines and anti-COVID Kits.
According to reports, Captain Damini Singh attended the patients and also provided them free medicine. Dr. Damini also briefed the participants and gave them precautions on how to prevent Covid19.
A local Doctor from NTPHC Nowgam was also present in the medical camp.
During the medical camp approximately 800 Anti COVID kits containing one 500 ml sanitizer, 500ml Hand wash four masks and two pairs of gloves were given to every participant. Later on Army with the local sarpanch visited a nearby village and distributed COVID kits to several villagers.
The official said the aim of this medical camp was to prevent the locals from the deadly virus which has consumed lakhs of lives across the globe so far.
Locals hailed the efforts of the army and said such kind of medical camps will be conducted in the near future also.
