Omar condemns use of force against Muharram mourners

Former chief minister Omar Abdullah Monday strongly condemned the “unwarranted” use of force against Muharram mourners in parts of the valley and termed it against the norms of a civilized society.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Omar said “Our unequivocal condemnation of the completely unwarranted use of force, including pellets, against Muharram mourners. This unprecedented crackdown goes against all norms that a civilized society would expect”.
