Cop injured in Handwara road accident, succumbs at SKIMS

A police man , who was seriously injured in a road accident this morning at chogal village of Handwara , succumbed at SKIMS Soura Srinagar on Friday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Tahir Ahmad Bhat resident of Lachampora Rajwar Area was seriously injured this morning on the Kupwra- Sopore highway near petrol Pump Chogal.
He was shifted to District Hospital Handwara from where he was referred to SKIMS Srinagar in critical condition where he succumbed this afternoon .
The body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
In this regard, a case stands already registered in police Post choagal .
