Killing innocents in the name of militants is GoI’s policy: Iltija Mufti

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti’s daughter Iltija Mufti on Wednesday took a dig on GoIs Kashmir policy and said it has become a policy of Government to kill an innocent when no militant is found.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Iljita Mufti said, “The death of three poor youth of Rajouri in an alleged encounter is proof that if no militant is found in Kashmir, GoI kills innocents. The incident raised questions on encounters that happened in the past which must be probed fully”.
“Shocked to hear about reports of 3 missing laborers reportedly killed in a staged encounter at Shopian. Armed forces have a free hand to operate with impunity. Explains why bodies are allowed to decompose at unknown locations. Probes into recent encounters must be ordered,” she tweeted earlier from her mother’s account.
