Drowning Baramulla minor saved by Cops in nick of time

Baramulla : Swiftly and timely action by Baramulla Police under the supervision of  SSP Baramulla, Sh.Abdul Qayoom-JKPS. And DySP headquarters B’la Sh. Gulzar Rasheed saved a precious life. As per details, a minor 12-year boy Sahil Ahmad Sheikh S/O Mohammad Afzal  R/O Ijara were drowned in a river Jhelum near Poshwani Colony where he was taking a bath after suddenly increase in water level the boy was carried away by the water and was finally stuck on a rock in the middle of the River, with no one around to help him. After hearing the cries from the crowd, SHO Gantmula Sheeri Insp. Sajad Ahmad rushed to the spot and successfully rescue the boy with the help of locals. Saving him was a great feeling. We are here to protect people and save people,” the DySP said. People of the area have appreciated the quick action by police appeal to the people especially to the parents take care of their wards. DySP added.
