15-year-old Bandipora boy hangs self

A 15-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide on Thursday in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

An official said the boy hailing from Lawaypora village allegedly hanged himself at his home this morning. The official said that the body was brought to District hospital Bandipora for postmortem.  After conducting medico-legal formalities, the body was handed over to his family for last rights, the official added.

The police have registered an FIR and initiated investigations in this regard.
