New Born Kidnpped In DH Handwara, Recovered, Police Arrests Two Females
A newborn baby was abducted from District Hospital Handwara on Friday morning, however, the baby was later on recovered by the police.
The shocking case of negligence on the part of hospital authorities has come to fore in Handwara district when a newborn baby was abducted from its premises. However, the promptness of the police in the case saved the baby and also nabbed the abductors. The police swung into action after the family of a newborn baby filed a complaint with the police.
According to reports, a pregnant lady delivered a baby at District hospital Handwara in the wee hours of Friday. The baby was abducted from the hospital premises leaving the family of newborn clueless.
Later on the with the intervention of hospital authorities and police the baby was recovered and two women in this connection have been arrested by the police.
As per reports, police have lodged a case under relevant sections of law and the duo has been arrested in this connection. Meanwhile, the duo has been lodged in Police Station Handwara and further investigation was taken up.
Deputy Medical Superintendent DH Handwara Dr. Aijaz also confirmed the incident and added that with the prompt action by the hospital authorities and police, the baby was recovered.
