According to reports, Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Baseer Ahmad Khan said that all public parks and gardens shall re-open from tomorrow i.e. July 08, 2020.
“We have decided to re-open all the parks and gardens across Jammu and Kashmir”, Khan said.
He added that wearing masks has been made mandatory for those wishing to visit public parks.
It is pertinent to mention that parks and gardens across J&K were closed for the general public in March this year after the Covid-19 outbreak in Jammu and Kashmir. The authorities of UT issued multiple guidelines and directed people to stay away from any public assembly or congestion.
