Budgam Police arrests two notorious drug peddlers, recover contraband substance

Budgam: Continuing its efforts to weed out the menace of drug addiction from society, Budgam police on Monday arrested two notorious drug peddlers in Parnewa, Khansahab Budgam.As per Police statement, During Naka Checking at Parnewa, Budgam Police apprehended two notorious drug peddlers, namely Mohammad Shaban Wani alias Shola S/O Ghulam Ahmad Wani and his Son Sahil Ahmad Wani Residents of Watrad Dalbal, Khansahab. The duo was traveling in a *Vehicle Alto 800 HR26W/9846 from Budgam* towards to Khansahab Parnewa when they were apprehended. During a search of the said Vehicle 02 Kgs of Charas was recovered from their possession.*In this regard, case FIR No.125/2020 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act* stands registered in Police Station Khansahab and investigation initiated. Budgam Police is committed to continuing its offensive against the drug peddlers. People of the area have hailed the prompt action of Police.
