Govt forces thrash Anantnag youth, hospitalised
Government forces on Friday allegedly thrashed youths during at National Highway Nepora village in Anantnag district of south Kashmir. One youth has suffered grave injuries during the thrashing. Witnesses said that the youth identified as Aabid Ahmad Reshi received injuries during the thrashing and was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment.
“CRPF personnel of road opening party near Nepora crossing without any provocation beat up local resident who was on way to Qazigund,” alleged a resident, who did not wish to be named.
The locals’ residents of youth were demanding action against the erring troopers. However, sources said that Army personnel refuted the allegation and said that they never manhandled anyone.
