Pearson India hosts L.E.A.P Education Conference 2019 in Srinagar

Srinagar: In line with its commitment to help learners make measurable progress through learning, Pearson India, the digital learning company, today organized L.E.A.P (Learning Effectively and Progressively) Education Conference, 2019 in Srinagar. Understanding the importance of a concept- based learning that improves student engagement and learning outcomes, the theme of LEAP 2019 was ‘Evidence-Based Learning’.  The conference focused on three key areas including the need and role of evidence-based learning in India and improving learning outcomes among students with effective teaching. The event highlighted various approaches, processes, and strategies that have been empirically demonstrated to enhance learning outcomes. Emphasizing shift from a focus on syllabus completion to delivery of competencies, the speakers urged teachers to reimagine learning to develop knowledge, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a passion for learning among students.
