J&K Police destroys wild cannabis in Ganderbal & Baramulla

J&K Police, in collaboration with the Excise Department conducted a joint drive against the cultivation and growth of wild cannabis (Bhung) in the jurisdiction of Police Station Safapora, Besides, Police Post Delina conducts wild cannabis destruction drive at Ratherpora, Delina.

In Ganderbal, During the drive, teams carried out an extensive search and destroyed wild Bhung plants growing at various spots, thereby preventing their potential use for the preparation of illicit narcotic substances. The joint action reflects the commitment of Ganderbal Police and the Excise Department towards curbing the menace of drugs and safeguarding the younger generation from substance abuse.

In Baramulla, Police Post Delina conducts wild cannabis destruction drive at Ratherpora, Delina. During the drive, wild cannabis plants found growing in the area were identified and destroyed on the spot, preventing their potential use for illicit drug production.

Police reiterated its resolve to continue such proactive enforcement and preventive measures against narcotic substances across the district and urged the public to extend their cooperation in making Jammu & Kashmir Nasha Mukt.
