J&K to remain mostly dry, isolated rain likely: MeT
Scattered showers and thundershowers expected from Sep 13 to 16
Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir is likely to experience generally dry weather over the coming days, with brief spells of rain and thundershowers possible at isolated and scattered places, according to the Meteorological Centre Srinagar.The weather is expected to remain generally dry from September 9 to 12, with a possibility of brief rain at isolated places.From September 13 to 16, scattered rain or thundershowers are likely, particularly during the early morning and afternoon hours.The weather is forecast to remain generally dry again from September 17 to 20, with isolated brief showers possible.The MeT has advised farmers to continue apple and paddy harvesting and other agricultural activities, while keeping local weather conditions in view.Farmers have also been advised to remain alert to sudden brief weather changes and plan agricultural operations accordingly
