LG, CM extend greetings on eve of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi

Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah have extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the eve of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

In his message, the Lieutenant Governor said the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad remain an eternal beacon of peace, equality and compassion for humanity. He urged people to uphold the values of love, kindness and universal brotherhood and work collectively towards building a harmonious, inclusive and united society.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also conveyed his greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion. He said the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAW) offer a timeless message of peace, compassion, equality, tolerance and brotherhood.The Chief Minister called upon people to imbibe these values in their daily lives and contribute towards strengthening unity, mutual respect and harmony across society.

“Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi reminds us of the timeless message of the Prophet (SAW), rooted in kindness, tolerance and service to humanity,” the Chief Minister said, urging people to dedicate themselves to these noble ideals.He also prayed for peace, prosperity and well-being of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, expressing hope that the occasion would further strengthen communal harmony, mutual understanding and the spirit of service across the region.
