Police District Awantipora Marks 77th Republic Day with Patriotic Fervour

Awantipora,January26: Republic Day 2026 was celebrated in Police District Awantipora with great fervor wherein tricolor was unfurled at each Police establishment, Tehsil and Block Headquarters,AIIMS Awantipora ,Schools, IUST Awantipora etc The main function was held at District Police Lines Awantipora in which Additional Deputy Commissioner Awantipora Shri Mushtaq Ahmad Lone-JKAS as chief guest unfurled the National Flag and inspected the Parade.

SSP Awantipora , Addl.SP Awantipora, SDPO Awantipora, Dy.SP DAR Awantipora, Tehsildar Awantipora and other senior officers of civil administration and Police Department were present on the occasion.

The parade was commanded by Dy.SP shri Danish Javed-JKPS

The contigents of CRPF ,District Police,JKAP Women Police, Home Guards,Pipe Band and many Schools participated in the parade and had a march past.

Besides, colorful cultural programmes were also presented on the occasion.

Awards were presented by the Chief Guest to the best performers.

Large number of people witnessed the function. Elaborate security arrangement were made by the District Police Awantipora in this behalf.
