GMC Srinagar Orders Identification of Unlabeled Lockers; Similar Advisory Issued Earlier by GMC Anantnag
Srinagar, Nov 11: The Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar has directed all faculty members, staff, and students to personally identify and label their lockers at GMC Srinagar and SMHS Hospital by November 14, 2025.
According to the circular, any unidentified lockers will be removed after inspection by the concerned authorities. The notice further states that no employee will be issued LPC, NOC, or Service Book on transfer unless their locker is properly handed over.
Earlier, the GMC Anantnag had issued a similar advisory, instructing all Heads of Departments (HODs) to identify and label lockers and almirahs in their respective departments and wards with the names of the allotted staff members.
