Four Injured as Portion of Clock Tower Collapses in Chadoora
Budgam, Oct 31: Four people sustained injuries, one of them critically, after a section of tiles came crashing down from the Clock Tower in Chadoora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday.
According to officials, the injured were immediately rushed to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Chadoora, where doctors referred one person with serious injuries to a Srinagar hospital for specialized treatment.
Soon after the incident, police arrived at the site and initiated an investigation. Authorities have cordoned off the area around the Clock Tower with barbed wire to prevent public movement and ensure safety, avoiding any further mishaps.(KNO)
