Ladakh LG celebrates Diwali with Army jawans in Leh

Leh,Oct 20 : LT governor Kavinder Gupta celebrated Diwali with Army personnel of the Fire and Fury Corps at the Rinchen auditorium in Leh today ,extending greetings and gratitude to the soldiers guarding the nations frontiers .The lt governor praised the courage and dedication of jawana serving in extreme weather and terrain conditions along the borders .he also paid rich tributes to the heroes of Kargil and Siachen ,acknoldging their supreme sacrifices in safeguarding the nations sovereignty .gupta reiterated the unwavering commitment of the government of india and the territory administration towards the welfare of soldiers and their families ,an official spokesperson said .(UNI)
