Tral: Teacher Shortage At Govt Primary School Bangidar Redressed After Public Outcry
Tral, May 8: The Education Department has acted on the complaints of local residents and media about the shortage of teachers at Government Primary School Bangidar in Aripal Tral.
The move follows shortly after Arising State reported that the school was running with a mere two teachers for 81 enrolled pupils, which raised alarm among the locals over the quality of education being offered.
In response, the department has assigned another teacher to the school to aid in the handling of the student load. Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Lurgam, Mohammad Shafi Khan, confirmed the action, saying, “One more teacher has been sent to Primary School Bangidar to fulfill the immediate requirement.”
When asked about the lack of infrastructure at the school, Khan admitted the shortage and indicated that measures would be taken to find land for development to enhance facilities in the near future.
