NC to Oppose Waqf Amendment Bill, Confident of Support from JD(U) & TDP: Larmi
Larmi expressed confidence that other parties, including those led by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, will also oppose the bill.
“CM Omar Abdullah has already directed NC MPs to participate in the voting and oppose the Waqf Amendment Bill. I am sure that JD(U) and TDP will also stand against it,” Larmi said.
The bill has sparked debate across political circles, with several opposition parties raising concerns over its implications. The NC has been vocal about protecting the interests of Waqf properties and ensuring transparency in their management.
