ACT – For A Better Tomorrow Performs Stage Plays ‘Jheel Bula Rahi Hai’ and ‘Pagla Ghoda’
Srinagar, 26th January: ACT – For A Better Tomorrow (formerly known as Actors’ Creative Theatre) staged two thought-provoking plays, Jheel Bula Rahi Hai in Urdu (written by Ali Mohammad Lone) and Pagla Ghoda in Hindi (written by Badal Sarkar) at the Open Air Theatre, NGO’s Enclave, Chhatabal Military Garrison, Bemina Qamarwari Road, Srinagar, on January 26th.
Both plays were directed by Mushtaaque Ali Ahmad Khan and received an enthusiastic response from the audience, particularly the youth. The performances captivated the audience, who appreciated the depth and energy of the plays.
The cast members of Jheel Bula Rahi Hai included Mushtaaque Ali and Zubair Farooq, while the cast of Pagla Ghoda featured Shahid Mushtaq, Rabiya Shafeeq, Mutayib Nabi, Barkat Ali, and Aaqib Haleem.
The group also announced plans to repeat the performance of Jheel Bula Rahi Hai in Jammu in the coming weeks, aiming to expand their reach and share the powerful messages of these plays with a wider audience.
