BJP Leader Avtar Singh Meets Mandoora Tral Residents Over HT Line Concerns

Tral, 18 Nov: BJP leader Avtar Singh visited the Chewa Ullar area of Tral on Monday, where he met with a delegation of villagers from Mandoora. The residents expressed serious concerns about the proposed installation of a High Tension (HT) transmission line running through their village.

During the meeting, villagers raised alarms about the potential risks the HT line could pose to their safety and the security of their homes. Fearing risks associated with high-voltage infrastructure, they urged Singh to advocate for the rerouting of the transmission line through a nearby forest area rather than through Mandoora.

Responding to their concerns, Avtar Singh assured the delegation that he would take the matter up with relevant authorities and work towards finding a solution that addresses the villagers’ safety concerns.
