Srinagar 15 Nov : Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, expressing deep sorrow over the recent road accident near the Tengpora bypass in Srinagar, emphasized the critical importance of adhering to traffic regulations for safety. The incident, involving a speeding Thar vehicle with three boys that collided with a parked tipper, claimed the lives of two and left one in critical condition.

Reflecting on the tragedy, CM Omar Abdullah remarked, “Heartbreaking visuals. This accident claimed precious young lives and has had a devastating impact on their families. My heart goes out to the families of the boys killed in this tragic accident. May Allah grant them a place in Jannat.”

He further stated, “Our cars get faster, our roads improve, but our road sense shows no sign of progress. Speed thrills, but it kills without remorse. Traffic rules are there for a reason—they keep us safe, but only if we follow them.
