Clashes erupt in Nowhatta after Friday prayers, six injured

At least six people were injured after clashes erupted between protestors and security forces on Friday in Nowhatta area of old town in Srinagar. According to reports,six youth were injured as a result of pellet firing after the security forces resorted to tear gas shelling and pellet firing to disperse the youth.Reports said that youth staged protests in Nowhatta area of the old city in Srinagar after the congregational prayers.

During the clashes, at least six youth sustained injuries who were later shifted to the hospital.
