20 Injured In Road Accident During Election Rally In North Kashmir’s Uri
Srinagar, Sep27 :At least 20 people were injured in a road accident in the Uri area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.
According to officials, the accident occurred during an election rally of Independent Candidate Taj Mohi Ud Din. A vehicle, which was part of the rally and traveling from Kamalkote to Uri, met with an accident near the Salamabad area. Among the injured, four are reported to be in critical condition.
All twenty injured individuals were shifted to a nearby hospital, and the four critically injured have been referred to GMC Baramulla for advanced treatment, officials said.
A senior police officer stated that an FIR has been lodged, and an investigation is underway.
