Government of Jammu and Kashmir Announces Transfer and Posting Orders

Srinagar ,16 August : In a significant reshuffle, the General Administration Department (GAD) of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday has issued Government Order No. 1506-JK(GAD) of 2024, implementing a series of transfers and postings with immediate effect.

Key transfers and postings include:

• Mr. Abid Iqbal Malik has been moved from his position as Deputy District Election Officer, Ganderbal, to Deputy Director, Tourism, Kashmir.
• Mr. Malik Waseem Ahmad transitions from Deputy Director, Tourism, Kashmir, to Deputy District Election Officer, Ganderbal.
• Mr. Vishavjeet Singh has been appointed as Secretary of the Jammu Development Authority from his previous role as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board.
• Ms. Rehana Akhtar Bijli will now serve as Deputy Secretary to the Government, Social Welfare Department, replacing her previous role as Personnel Officer at Associated Hospital, Jammu.
• Mr. Sahil Jandyal moves from Secretary of the Jammu Development Authority to Deputy Secretary to the Government, Agriculture Production Department.
• Mr. Suhail-ul-Islam has been assigned as Secretary, Srinagar Municipal Corporation, transitioning from Deputy Secretary to the Government in the Department of Forest, Ecology, and Environment.
• Ms. Mantasa Binti Rashid is now Deputy Director, Rural Sanitation, Kashmir, from her previous role as Deputy Director, Tourism, Kashmir.
• Mr. Athar Amin Zargar has been appointed as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Marh, with additional duties as Sub-Registrar, Marh, while awaiting further orders in the General Administration Department.
• Ms. Sanina Khan moves to Deputy Director (Administration) at the Directorate of Social Welfare, Jammu, from her role as Deputy Director, Rural Sanitation, Jammu.
• Mr. Manu Hansa has been reassigned from Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Marh, to Deputy Director, Tribal Affairs, Jammu.
• Mr. Nasir Mehmood Khan is now Deputy Director Tourism, Kashmir, transitioning from Assistant Commissioner (Nazool), Srinagar.
• Mr. Arun Kumar Badyal will take over as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board from Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Gandoh.
• Mr. Musharraf Ali Haf has been moved to Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Gandoh, holding additional responsibilities as Sub-Registrar, Gandoh, from Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Doda.
• Mr. Manoj Kumar will act as Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Doda, alongside his duties as Project Officer, Wage Employment (ACD), Doda.
• Mr. Shuaib Mohammad Naikoo transitions to Deputy Secretary to Government, Public Works (R&B) Department, from Deputy Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department.
• Mr. Atul Dutt Sharma is appointed as Personnel Officer at Associated Hospitals, Jammu, replacing Mr. Rafiq Ahmad, who will now serve as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Jammu (South).
• Mr. Bashir Ahmad Padder has been reassigned as Assistant Commissioner (Nazool), Srinagar, from General Manager, JKTDC, Kashmir.
• Mr. Gulshan Kumar will serve as Deputy Secretary to the Government, Department of Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs, transitioning from District Mineral Officer, Jammu.
• Mr. Rajinder Singh is slated to become Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Ramnagar, holding additional charge as Sub-Registrar, Ramnagar.
• Mr. Mohd. Sayeed is now District Mineral Officer, Rajouri, from District Mineral Officer, Samba.
• Mr. Abdul Khabir will take on the role of Deputy Secretary to the Government, Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, from Deputy Director, Tribal Affairs, Jammu.
• Ms. Naseema Akhter is reassigned to Deputy Secretary to the Government, Department of Forest, Ecology, and Environment, from Deputy Secretary to the Government, Public Works (R&B) Department.
• Mr. Farooq Ahmed Malik transitions to Deputy Secretary to the Government, Tribal Affairs Department, from Deputy Secretary to the Government, Public Works (R&B) Department.
• Mr. Pawan Kumar Goswami has been moved to Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board from Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Gool.
• Mr. Ajay Salaan will serve as Deputy Secretary to the Government, Industries and Commerce Department, transitioning from Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board.
• Mr. Altaf Hussain Bhat has been appointed as General Manager, JKTDC, Kashmir, from Administrative Officer in the office of Managing Director, JKSPDC.
